All partner agencies of The Idaho Foodbank work with food on a very regular basis. We can all agree that food safety is a critical issue that must be taken seriously, especially when we are working with a population of people who cannot take the chance of becoming sick due to food. This is why it is very important that at least one person in charge who is present during operating hours must have a food handler’s certification or the equivalent to a food safety certification
Here are three options to receive your food safety certification:

- The Idaho Food Safety Exam through the Department of Health and Welfare.
- Cost: FREE.

Life’s Kitchen offers monthly Managers Level ServSafe training and certification
for partner organizations.
When: Last Thursday & Friday of each month (dates could change) from 8:30am to 12:30pm
